CPJ School of Law, Delhi Organized “LOI FIESTA – 2025: 7th Annual Law Festival” on March 21 & 22, 2025 Grand celebration of the importance and Values of human rights in Law Festival



New Delhi-

CPJ College of Higher Studies & School of Law, Narela (Affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi), Organized “Loi Fiesta– 2025: 7th Annual Law Festival” on 21st and 22nd March, 2025, on the theme “Human Rights Today: Emerging Concerns & Global Trends” at the CPJ College.  More than 300 students from 45+ Law Universities/ Colleges Pan India participated in 5 mega events, i.e., CPJ Law Conference, and other competitions like CPJ Moot Court, Debate, Judgment Writing and Client Counseling Competitions. On this occasion, Hon’ble Justice M.L. Mehta, Former Judge, High Court of Delhi was Chief Guest and Prof. (Dr) A.P. Singh, Vice Chancellor, RML National Law University, Lucknow &  Prof.(Dr.) Prasannanshu, were the Guests of Honour  of the Inaugural Ceremony. And Prof. (Dr) Vandana Singh & Prf.(Dr.) Rakesh Kumar, both from USLLS, GGSIPUwere Keynote Speaker and Session Chair respectively.


Shri Jogionder Singh, Registrar (LAW), NHRC, Adv. R.S.Goswami, Ex-Chairman,BCD, Adv. Murari Tiwari, Ex-Chairman, BCD were Guest of Honour  on the occasion of Valedictory Ceremony. In addition to this, participating students were also able to  get a chance to hear visionary words & thoughts from leading legal luminarieswho graced “Loi-Fiesta-2025" by their esteemed presence as the honorary Guests/ Judges of all the events that included renowned advocates and eminent educationists.


The Law Festival began with the lighting of the auspicious lamp by the Chief Guest Justice M.L. Mehta, Prof. (Dr) A.P. Singh, Prof.(Dr,) Prasannanshu  along with Dr. Abhishek Jain, General Secretary, Dr. Yugank  Chaturvedi, Director General, Dr. Jyotsna Sinha, Director, Dr. Amit Jain, Director, CA, Dr. Shalini Tyagi, Principal and other Dignitaries. Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi gave the welcome address and warmly welcomed the Hon’ble Guests, Dignitaries and all the participants. He motivated the participants to take part in all the competitions with confidence, and dedication. Dr. Chaturvedi elaborated the importance of human rights in the light of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), 1948.


The honorable Chief Guests Justice M.L. Mehta and Prof. (Dr.) A.P.Singh, emphasized the importance of Human Rights and the values of kindness, fairness, dignity, equality and independence.  Justice Mehta impressed with the well worded address of Dr. Chaturvedi and appreciated that with the kind of qualities and caliber Dr. Chaturvedi possesses, one can imagine the quality and capability of teachers working with him in this Institution. Dr. A.P. Singh added, certainly with the focus and commitment of imparting quality education CPJ has consistently progressed as excellent and big College of Law, Management, Commerce and Information Technology. The honorable guests also thanked the visionary management of the college and said that CPJ College management aims to make it a leading college of professional education fostering excellence and preparing students to be skilled so that they can contribute to society with a focus on ethics as global citizens.


The CPJ Conference and prescribed Legal competitions were conducted smoothly& with great passion from one & all. The final round of Moot Court Competition was judged by a Four Judges Bench comprised by Mr. Joginder Singh, Judicial. Officer, currently on deputation as Registrar (Law) NHRC, Mr. R.S. Goswami, Sr.  Advocate, Mr. Murari Tiwari, Sr. Advocate and Prof. (Dr.) Upma Gautam, GGSIPU. The Hon’ble Judges appreciated both the finalist teams for arguments advanced with citations of leading legal cases and complemented them for their excellence.The Winners and the Runners-up of all events were awarded Trophiesand Cash Prizes by the Hon’ble Guests &  Dignitaries amid huge applause from the audience.


At the end, the  two-day Law Festival  concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Ishmeet Kaur Sodhi, Law Faculty with gratitude to the distinguished guests, organizing team, all participants and all those who contributed to the success of “Loi Fiesta-2025: 7th Annual Law Festival of CPJ School of Law, Narela, Delhi.
