The 5th edition of the ‘Aaradhya Samman Mahotsav’, organized by the leading cultural organization ‘AKS’, was held with grandeur and dignity at the Deputy Speaker Hall, Constitution Club. The objective of the event was to honor distinguished personalities from various fields for their outstanding contributions and to bring their inspiring work to the masses.

This year’s Aaradhya Samman awardees included Dr. Anju Rathi Rana (Member Secretary, Law Commission of India, Government of India), Ms. Laxmi Singh, IPS (Police Commissioner, Noida), Prof. Dr. Savita Roy (Principal, Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi), Dr. Smita Singh (Industrial Development and Export Promotion), Smt. Latika Sharma (Former MLA and Women Activist), Bibi Ranjeet Kaur (Religious and Social Personality), Ms. Yasmin Rodgers (International Prosthetic Makeup Professional), Smt. Shashi Prabha Tiwari (Art Critic), Ms. Rajdipa Behura (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court), and Smt. Suman Maheshwari (Renowned Anchor, Poetess, Orator, and Social Worker). All awardees were honored for their exceptional contributions.

The event was graced by distinguished guests Dr. Sanjeev Patjoshi (IPS, Retired Joint Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India) and Dr. Sylvie Rodgers (International Hair Designer).

Former Member of Parliament Suraj Mandal was also specially present and shared his insightful views on politics, social values, and the importance of art and culture. He emphasized that cultural awareness connects society to its roots and guides it towards progress.

The program was effectively anchored by senior journalist Manvendra Kumar, whose impactful and engaging presentation kept the audience captivated throughout the event.On this occasion, renowned Odissi dancer, choreographer, and social activist Dr. Chandana Raul highlighted the vision and activities of ‘AKS’. She stated that the organization is dedicated to preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage, particularly through Odissi dance, taking Indian art to both national and international platforms.

Dr. Raul also shared that apart from Aaradhya Samman, the organization conducts several prestigious initiatives such as the Kavi Samrat Upendra Bhanja Samman, Bhumiputra Biju Patnaik International Peace Award, Gupteshwar Mahotsav, Dhabaleshwar Mahotsav, and transgender empowerment programs. ‘AKS’ has been associated with eminent personalities like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Kumudini Lakhia, Anup Jalota, Darshana Jhaveri, and Anuradha Paudwal.

She further stated that the aim of Aaradhya Samman is to honor individuals who have dedicated their lives to excellence and have significantly contributed to society and nation-building. The platform not only recognizes their achievements but also serves as an inspiration for the younger generation.

Speakers at the event highlighted the remarkable achievements of women, noting that women today are excelling in every field and playing a leading role in societal development. Such events spread a positive message and inspire the youth to move forward.
