CPJ College of Higher Studies & School of Law,Narela  (Affiliated to GGSIP University, Delhi) organized Annual Convocation Ceremony on Friday, 25th April, 2025. In the beginning National Anthem was sung by all graduands, teachers and dignitaries.  The auspicious Lamp lighting was done by the dignitaries on the dais comprising of honorable Vice Chancellor GGSIPU,  Padamshri Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Chief Guest and Shri  Rajkaran Khatri, MLA, Narela Constituency, Delhi along with Dr. Abhishek Jain, General Secretary, Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi, Director General and Prof.(Dr.) Jyotsna Sinha, Director of CPJ College. 

Before the formal start of the convocation, the chief guest appealed to all of us to stand up and observe a minute of silence and remember and pay tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam tragedy. In compliance, everyone observed a minute of silence and paid tribute in honour of the departed soul.

Thereafter, the Honorable Chief Guest Dr. Mahesh Verma declared the “CPJ Annual Convocation- 2025” as opened amidst huge applause. Upon this Dr. Yugank Chaturvedii, Director General gave the Annual Report for Academic Session 2023-24 reflecting progress and growth of CPJ on all aspects from Academic Excellence to Sports Achievements;  Social Responsibility to Development of students personality; Cultural events to National day celebrations etc. Before this, Dr. Abhishek Jain, Dr Chaturvedi and Dr. Mrs. Sinha warmly welcomed both the honorable guests and felicitated them with Tulsi Plant and the CPJ College Memento.

The Chief Guest Dr. Mahesh Verma gave the highly educative, guiding and inspiring Convocation Speech which deeply impacted the students for charting their future career journey. Appreciating the fastest progress report of CPJ presented by Dr. Yugank Chaturvedi the Chief Guest observed that he left no stone unturned to make it quite impactful touching all aspects of CPJ Progress and acknowledging the  hard work and dedication of everyone and also inspired  students to pursue excellence in their future endeavors.

The Vice Chancellor sir very beautifully explained the English letters of 'CPJ'- 'C" highlights the strength of this College being as "certified," "competent," and "compassionate" in its characteristics and it is dedicated to shaping the spirits, minds and bright futures of its students. 'P' stands for passion and possibility. Dr. Verma praised CPJ by emphasizing commitment of the college administration to fostering a culture of "Passion and Possibility."

'J' refers to 'Jump Start' a combination of two words 'Jump' and 'Start'. He motivated the graduates to jump start their future and emphasized that the CPJ provided the tools and support necessary to give students an accelerated and promising start to their careers. He heartily congratulated all the graduates and wished them to excel in the next phase of their journey..

Shri Raj Karan Khatri,  Guest of honour on the occasion also adddressed  the graduates and suggested them to be gratreful to the institute, your parents, friends, relatives and near and dear ones who have contributed to succeed reaching their goal and first phase of your life acquiring a  graduation degree.. He further emphasized that founding Chairman of CPJ Shri Subhash Chand Jain aims to overall development of students personality. Character, punctuality, and dedication are interrelated qualities that contribute significantly to a student’s potential for success. Cultivating these traits can lead to a well-progressed, responsible, and motivated individual who is equipped to navigate both academic and personal challenges effectively. As students develop these characteristics, they are better prepared to achieve their goals and contribute positively to society.

.The Hon’be Guests conferred the degrees to a total of 265 students of  pass out batches of all disciplines, i.e. BBA, BBA (CAM), B.Com (Hons.), BCA and B.A.LL.B/BBALLB and LL.M.  Gold Medals were also awarded to the University Toppers.  In all, the Convocation Ceremony was a grand success and welcomed by one and all.

At the end,the program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Ms. Ishmeet Kaur Sodhi, Law Faculty with gratitude to the distinguished guests, dignitaries, organizing teamof NCW, GGSIPU and CPJ Collegeand all students who contributed to the spectacular success of this program.
