Master trainer trained newly appointed ANM for 4 days in a city hotel

The newly appointed ANM was trained at a hotel in the city for 4 days at the Urban Primary Health Center in the district. During this, he was given information about his work. Along with this important training was also given. During the training, Civil Surgeon Dr. Vijay Kumar Singh said that there is an urban primary health center on a population of 50,000. An urban primary health center consists of five ANMs. Accordingly, an ANM is responsible for 10,000 people. Therefore, you should understand your work well, so that you will be able to work in the field in future.
Training given to 37 newly appointed ANMs:
Regional Program Manager Arun Prakash present in the program said that 37 new ANMs have been appointed in the urban area. These people were trained for 4 days. During this time he was explained how to work in the field. Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha was present as Master Trainer in charge of Urban Primary Health Center, Hussainabad in the program. He explained his work to all ANMs. In the program, AACMO Dr. Dinanath explained to the newly appointed ANM about the challenges in the field and gave them ways to deal with it.
Explained the nuances of vaccination to newly appointed ANM-
At the program, District Immunization Officer Dr. Manoj Kumar Choudhary explained the nuances of vaccination to newly appointed ANM. He also informed the ANM about the importance of vaccination and how to implement it in the field. The District Immunization Officer told the newly appointed ANM how to deal with even the smallest problems that occur after vaccination. He told that if there is any problem then there is no need to panic. At that time one should think about recovering from it.
In the program, master trainer Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha told all ANMs how to check for serious diseases like TV and cancer. He gave information about its initial symptoms. The doctor told that after showing what kind of symptoms the patient falls into the category of suspect, then he is examined. If the disease is confirmed in the investigation, then it is treated. Otherwise they are advised to take precautions.
How to coordinate with the ASHA worker was also informed: During the training, ASHA’s Divisional Coordinator Kunal Kumar explained the responsibility of ASHA to the newly appointed ANM. Kunal Kumar told how Asha workers work in the area and what kind of support you will get from them. Also how will you guide them. At the same time, Ravi Srivastava of Zapigo trained ANM about permanent and temporary resources regarding family planning. During this time, all ANMs were informed about blood, urine, BP, sugar and other types of investigations. Mohammad Masood Alam, State Program Manager of the National Urban Health Mission was present as the chief guest at the event.
