Delhi=
An election survey conducted across India by Centre for Public Affairs & Research (CPAR) has forecasted a third term for BJP led NDA with comfortable victory in the upcoming 2024 General Elections. The survey, meticulously executed to gauge public sentiment, indicates the Indian National Congress-led alliance (INDIA) is expected to clinch 149 seats, reflecting a significant gap between the two major political fronts in the country. Remaining 57 seats will be distributed among various other political parties, which neither align with the NDA nor INDIA, highlighting the diverse political landscape of India.
The findings of this survey hold profound implications for the political landscape of the nation, signalling a continuation of the BJP-led government's transformative agenda and development initiatives. The projected outcome underscores the electorate's endorsement of the NDA's governance model, which has prioritized economic growth, national security, and inclusive development.
The projected result indicates that BJP may not reach the much hyped 400 seats still it underscores the enduring confidence and support garnered by the alliance under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Participants cited absence of united front and a strong credible face among INDIA alliance for poor support. Among other factors, low spirited campaign, unrealistic promises, lack of hope of winning are the reasons for which people are not expecting to vote for INDIA alliance.
Speaking about the survey findings, Rahul Sharma, President, CPAR said, "Through our extensive survey, it's evident that voters across India remain steadfast in their confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ability to steer the nation towards further progress and prosperity. Despite the prevailing challenges of unemployment and inflation, voters express optimism in Modi's leadership, anticipating more reform-oriented decisions in his third term. This unwavering trust underscores not only the resilience of our democracy but also the belief in Modi's transformative vision for India. As we approach the General Elections, these insights serve as a compelling testament to the electorate's aspirations for a brighter, more prosperous future under Modi's stewardship."
